Your XML stays on your device
FreeFormatterr is designed so the contents of the XML you paste or open are processed locally by your browser.
Document processing
Your XML document is not sent to a FreeFormatterr application server for formatting, validation, copying, or downloading. The current XML formatter has no user accounts and no database for saving your documents.
Normal website requests
Like other websites, our hosting provider may process standard technical request information needed to deliver the site, such as an IP address, browser details, timestamps, and requested page paths. This does not include the XML text that remains inside the formatter in your browser.
Browser storage
The site may remember a display preference such as light or dark theme in your browser. Your XML content is not placed in browser storage by the formatter.
Scope and updates
This notice describes the current free XML formatter. If future features require server-side processing, the interface and this page will be updated before those features are introduced.
